The First Of The Rebuilding Projects In The Southwest Virginia Communities Hit By The Deadly Tornoes And Storms Over A Month Ago Has Begun. With The Support Of The United Way Of Russell And Washington Counties, About A Dozen Volunteers Started Replacing Shingles And Repairing Leaks On The Home Of Harold Lester Of Plum Creek Road In Glade Spring. Lester And His Family Braved The Storm By Gathering In The Bathroom During The Storms. They Have Since Lived In The Home Which Has Been Covered With A Blue Tarp.
