A Weber City chiropractor and three of his employees have been sentenced in U.S. District Court in Abingdon for their roles in a health care fraud scheme in Virginia and Tennessee. Mark Allen Bradley was ordered to serve 18 months in prison, three years probation and made to pay more than 79,000 dollars to Medicare and TennCare. Federal prosecutors said Bradley contracted with a Tennessee doctor who, for a percentage of the profit, allowed Bradley to use the doctor’s DEA number to dispense prescriptions for controlled substances. Bradley also billed health care providers under the doctor’s name for work he completed. Registered nurses Katherine Elaine Turner-Yeary and Weldon Davis and office employee Connie Rose-Brickey each received three years probation for their role in the scheme at the Virginia Center for Integrative Medicine.
