Texas-Based Trinity Highway Products, Guardrail Company, Is Being Sued By A Sullivan County Man. The Suit Claims An Et Plus End Terminal Failed Because Of A Design Flaw When Sabrena Carrier’s SUV Hit The Terminal In December 2008 On Highway 394 Near Blountville. Instead Of Sliding Along A Track And Pushing The Guardrail Away From The On-Coming Vehicle, The Suit Claims The End Terminal Failed And The Guardrail Instead Penetrated The Passenger Compartment And Struck The Victim In The Torso, Causing Fatal Injuries. The Company Denies Any Wrongdoing.
