A Bristol Tennessee Police Officer Who Was Arrested This Week On Charges Related To Driving Under The Influence, Has Resigned. 24 Year Old Matthew Johnson Had Worked For The Police Department For Nearly Three Years. The Tennessee Highway Patrol Charged Johnson, Who Was Off-Duty At The Time, With Violation Of The Implied Consent Law And Due Care Law. Johnson Allegedly Failed Field Sobriety Tests And Declined To Allow Blood To Be Drawn. He Will Be Back In Court On September 19th.
