With The Massive Turnout At The Recent Rhythm And Roots Festival In Downtown Bristol, City Leaders Are Looking At The Possibility Of Constructing An Entertainment Venue. A Feasibility Study Was Conducted Awhile Back That Revealed The City Didn’t Need A Convention Center But An Entertainment Venue With Seating Of Around Seven Thousand. Vice Mayor Jack Young Has Reportedly Said The City Is Interested In This Type Of Project. However, The City Isn’t Looking At Taking The Lead But Would Work With A Private Partner To Discuss Plans For A Venue. Nothing Has Been Finalized But Discussions Are On The Table.
