Virginia State Police Are Investigating A Fatal Single-Vehicle Wreck In Wise County. It Happened Just Over A Mile South Of Route 670. 47 Year Old Christopher Covell Of Wise Died At The Scene When The Truck He Was Driving Ran Off The Road And Struck A Tree. The Passenger, 36 Year Old Ricky Niece, Also Of Wise, Was Taken To The Hospital For Treatment Of Serious Injuries. The Cause Of The Crash Is Under Investigation.
