Johnson City Has Named A New Fire Chief. From A Pool Of Nearly 100 Candidates, Jim Stables Was Chosen To Lead The Department. According To City Manager Pete Peterson, Stables Has Served The City Of Palm Bay, Florida For 22 Years And Has More Than 33 Years Of Progressive Experience In Fire Service. He Will Begin His New Job On September 5th. Stables Replaces Embattled Fire Chief Mark Scott Who Resigned Earlier This Month.
