Kingsport City Leaders Are Going To Be Considering Tonight, A Non-Binding Letter Of Intent To Acquire The Regions Bank Building. They’re Looking At Consolidating All Employees From City Hall, Engineering, Improvement And The Midland Center Into The One Building And Still Have Roughly 10-Thousand Square Feet Of Extra Space To Either Use Of Lease Out. To Keep And Renovate The City’s Existing Facilities Would Cost Upwards Of Nearly 8-Million Dollars, While Consolidating And Moving Into The Regions Building Would Cost Under Half That Much.
