Bristol Virginia Leaders Will Decide Tuesday Night On Whether To Go With A New Temporary Solution For Its Stray Animal Issues. City Leaders Are Being Asked To Enter Into A Four-Month Contract With The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Which Oversees The C.C. Porter Animal Shelter In Abingdon. Under The Agreement, The County Will Accept No More Than Five Dogs And Ten Cats At Any Given Time From The City. The County Would Retain All Adoption Fees And The City Agrees To Pay Up To 300 Dollars A Month Plus Any Veterinary Fees. City Leaders Will Meet Tonight At Six O’Clock.
