Bristol Virginia Leaders Have Decided To Approve And Build A New Animal Shelter For The City. Groundbreaking On The New Shelter Could Come About As Early As Next Week. The 3-Thousand Square Foot Shelter Will Be Constructed On Shakesville Road, And Will Cost 125-Thousand Dollars. In The Meantime, Stray Animals Will Be Taken To The Washington County Virginia Shelter, Which Is Operated By The Sheriff’s Office. The New Shelter Will Be Able To House 14 Dogs And 20 Cats.
