A Federal Jury Has Awarded A Former Family Counselor At A Kingsport Funeral Home, 300-Thousand Dollars Over Her Claims Of Sexual Harassment And Retaliation. The Suit Was Filed By Andrea Herring. She Claimed She Was Groped And Harassed By The Funeral Director, Tim Stinnet, Over Four Years Until She Was Fired In 2013 From Her Job At East Lawn Funeral Home. She Also Accused Managers Of Ignoring Her Claims And Firing Her Without Just Cause After She Complained To The Corporate Office. The Jury Awarded The Money For Emotional Pain And Mental Anguish The Woman Suffered As Well As Back Pay And Lost Wages.
