The City’s 50-Year-Old Jail Facility Was Built To Hold Only 67 And Is Typically Holding Twice That Many. The City’s Spending Plan Includes 1.2 Million Dollars To House Inmates Outside The City Jail. Estimates To Build A New Lockup Could Be As High As 90-Million Dollars.
