Christopher Mitchell Is Charged With First Degree Murder Under A Statute That Is The Result Of Aggravated Child Neglect For Not Providing A Safe And Secure Environment For The Child. Mitchell Is Also Charged With Tampering With Evidence After Allegedly Hiding The Weapon And Criminal Impersonation For Giving A False Name. The Incident Occurred At Value Place Hotel On Pinnacle Road In January 2009 When Two Year Old Jacob Mitchell Allegedly Found A Loaded Gun And Shot Himself. Mitchell Has A Plea Deadline Set For August 2nd In Washington County Tennessee Criminal Court.
