Strong Storms That Swept Through Our Region Overnight Is Still Causing Power Issues For Several Residents In Southwest Virginia. The Storm System Moved Through The Tri Cities Yesterday Afternoon Bringing With It Heavy Rain, Lightening And Strong Winds. Several Funnel Clouds Were Spotted Throughout The Area But No Significant Damage Or Injuries Have Been Reported. This Morning, Power Remains Out To Just Over 1,200 Residents In Tazewell, Smyth, And Washington Counties In Virginia.
