Johnson City Commissioners Have Extended An Offer To The Current Assistant City Manager Of Asheville North Carolina, To Become Johnson City’S New City Manager. If Cathy Ball Accepts The Offer, She Will Replace Retiring City Manager Pete Peterson. Ball Is An Erwin Native And Was One Of Five Finalists Following A National Search. Mayor Joe Wise Has Said He’S Very Pleased With The Choice. Ball Is Expected To Notify The City Soon If She Will Accept The Offer.
