The Washington County Virginia Service Authority Has Received Grant Funding Of 5.5 Million Dollars From The Virginia Department Of Health Office Of Drinking Water. This Will Fund The Water Line Extension In The Mendota Area Of The County. A 1.6 Million Dollar Grant From The VDH Will Be Used To Install Water Line To Residents Along Mary Chapel Road Archery Range Road And A Portion Of Walker Mountain Road. Work On Both Projects Is Expected To Start In The Spring.
