A HAWKINS COUNTY MAN ACCUSED OF FIRING A GUN AT A HOME IS BEHIND BARS. 66 YEAR OLD JIMMY WILDER OF BULLS GAP IS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON. ACCORDING TO THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE, WILDER WAS EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED AND HAD ALLEGEDLY BEEN SHOOTING A .38 CALIBER REVOLVER AT COUNTRY LIVING ESTATES. WILDER REPORTEDLY ADMITTED TO OFFICERS THAT HE’D FIRED SOME SHOTS FOR UNKNOWN REASONS. AFTER BEING BOOKED INTO THE COUNTY JAIL, HE WAS TRANSFERRED TO HAWKINS COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL TO UNDERGO A MENTAL EVALUATION.
