Dr. Phil Roe
Johnson City Mayor Phil Roe made it official on Tuesday, formally announcing that he will make a second run at the First District Congressional seat currently held by David Davis, also from Johnson City. Roe finished fourth in the 2006 primary, behind Davis, Richard Venable of Kingsport and Richard Roberts of Greeneville. The Republican primary is set for August 7th.
