Bristol Virginia Leaders Are Trying To Make The City Safer. The City Council Approved On First Reading, An Ordinance That Would Make It Illegal To Urinate Or Defecate In Public. This Would Be A Misdemeanor, Punishable By Up To A Year In Jail And A $2,500 Fine. Mayor Neal Osborne Said There’s Lots Of People Coming To Downtown Trying To Enjoy The Area Without Having This Type Of Environment. The City Council Will Have To Approve The Measure A Second Time Before Its Added To The City Code.
