The Carter County Sheriff’s Office Has Re-Launched Its Reserve Officer Program. Applications Are Now Being Accepted. Those Interested In Serving Must Be At Least 21 Years Old, Pass A Physical And Psychological Assessment, Pass A Criminal Background Check And Pass The Civil Service Exam. Applications Can Be Picked Up In The Lobby Of The Carter County Detention Center From The Dispatch Office.
