The Tennessee Department Of Environment And Conservation’s Division Of Air Pollution Control Has Fined BAE Systems In Kingsport As A Result Of Three Violations. A 45-Hundred Dollar Penalty Was Issued February 1st Following The Instances Which Occurred Between June 2018 And October Of Last Year. They Stemmed From A Failure To Complete Boiler Tune-Ups By A Deadline, A Failure To Notify The Agency Of The Start Of A Construction Project, And For Not Performing A Required Evaluation By A Deadline. Officials With BAE Systems Have Since Implemented Corrective Actions And Remain Committed To Compliance.
