Hawkins County Has Received A 100-Thousand Dollar State Grant. The Money Is Being Provided By The Tennessee Department Of Tourist Development. The Funds Will Be Used To Install Qr Code Wayfinding Trail Signs Along Trailways At Bays Mountain Park As Well As To Install A Creek Crossing Bridge At Laurel Run Park On The Trail For The Park’s Waterfall. This Is Part Of 2.2 Million Dollars In Grants Awarded To 29 Communities Across The State.
