The Virginia House Of Delegates Has Approved A Budget Plan For The Upcoming Fiscal Year, Which Includes 35-Million Dollars For The Bristol Virginia Landfill Remediation Project. However, The Senate Version, Which Passed, Includes Only 18 Million Dollars. Now, The General Assembly Will Have To Work To Reconcile The Budget Differences. City Officials Said The Full 35-Million Dollars Is Needed To Help Keep The City On Track And Prevent Additional Borrowing In The Future.
