The Carter County Sheriff’s Office Is Investigating An Incident In Which A 16 Year Old Male Was Found Dead Underneath A Vehicle. It Happened At A Home On Hawkins Hill Lane Yesterday Morning After A 911 Caller Reported Finding A Deceased Person. A Preliminary Investigation Indicated The Juvenile Was Attempting To Steal The Vehicle When It Came Out Of Gear And Ran Him Over. The Juvenile Died As A Result Of His Injuries. The Incident Remains Under Investigation.
