A Bipartisan Team Of Tennessee Lawmakers Have Sponsored A New Bill Which Would Make Penalties More Harsh Against Those Who Make Threats Against Schools. It’s Sponsored By House Of Representatives Democrat Bo Mitchell Of Nashville And In The Senate By Republican Jon Lundberg Of Bristol. It Would Make Threats Of Violence On School Property Or At School-Related Activities, A Felony Rather Than A Misdemeanor. It Must Go To The Senate Judiciary Committee Before It Makes Its Way To The Full Floor For A Final Vote.
