Hawkins County Leaders Are Scrounging For Options After Learning The 60-Year Old Goshen Valley Road Bridge Scored Horribly On Its Latest Inspection. It Was Given A Sufficiency Rating Of A 6 Out Of 100 By The Tennessee Department Of Transportation. It’s Weight Limit Was Also Reduced To 10 Tons, Which Prevents The Goshen Valley Volunteer Fire Department From Being Able To Use It. They Are Currently Redeveloping Emergency Response Routes For That Area. Now, County Leaders Will Have To Find A Way For Paying For A New Bridge.
