Johnson City Leaders Have Passed A $323 Million Dollar 2024-25 Fiscal Year Budget On First Reading. City Manager Cathy Ball Said The Spending Plan Includes Investment Priorities In Core Services, Community Safety And The School System. It Also Includes A 3% Cost Of Living Raise For Employees And 2% Merit Increase. The Budget Will Have To Pass Two More Readings Before Its Finalized. It Will Go Into Effect July 1st.
