The T-B-I Says 39-Year-Old Alexander Russom Opened Fire On Officers Serving A Warrant On Cross Mountain Road. Deputies From Johnson And Carter Counties Returned Fire, Killing Russom. A Johnson County K-9 Was Wounded In The Exchange And Is Being Treated. Authorities Had Been Searching For Russom Since He Fled From Police Last Month. The Investigation Remains Ongoing.
