Kingsport Emergency Communications District Is Celebrating Its Communications Specialists, Also Known As Dispatchers, During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week Through April 19th. These Highly Trained Professionals Handle Roughly 250,000 Calls Annually, With 20% Being Emergency 911 Calls. Kingsport Central Dispatch Serves The Police And Fire Departments, Sullivan County Ems, And The Life Saving Crew. The Kingsport Police Department Expresses Gratitude To The 911 Employees.
