Mount Carmel Leaders Are Advancing Efforts To Fix Wastewater Violations. The Town’s Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Has Unanimously Approved A 5-Year Contract With Inframark LLC To Manage Its Wastewater Treatment Plant, Beginning June 1st. It Will Cost Just Over 78-Thousand Dollars Per Month. The Agreement Follows Multiple Violations Earlier This Year, Including Overflows And Failure To Report Monitoring Data. Inframark Will Use Town-Owned Equipment And Cover Damage Beyond Normal Wear And Tear As The Plant Works Toward Full Compliance.
