A Volunteer Group In Johnson City Is Bringing Beauty And Healing To The Community Through Fresh Flowers. The Salvation Army And Shady Oaks Garden Club Host Flowers Of Hope Each Friday At 1 P.M., Where Volunteers Create Bouquets From Donated Flowers. Arrangements Are Used To Decorate The Center Of Hope Shelter And Are Also Delivered To Homebound Individuals And Care Facilities. Since The Program Started, Shelter Conflicts Have Dropped By 80 Percent. Media Are Invited To Visit The Program This Friday At The Salvation Army Building On Walnut Street.
