The Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office Is Hosting This Year’s “Ride For A Cure” On Saturday, June 7, With All Proceeds Supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Riders Will Travel Through Parts Of Virginia, Tennessee, And North Carolina During A Scenic Three-And-A-Half-Hour Ride. The Route Includes Stops In Damascus, Mountain City, And West Jefferson, With A Return Through The Newly Reopened Stretch Of Route 58. Registration Begins At 9 A.M. At The Sheriff’s Office, With Complimentary Breakfast. Kickstands Go Up At 10. A Post-Ride Lunch Is Available For Twelve Dollars Cash. All Street-Legal Vehicles Are Welcome. The Rain Date Is June 14.
