The City Of Kingsport Has Announced The Hiring Of A New Police Chief To Lead The Department. Jason Bellamy Will Succeed Dale Phipps Who Retires Later This Month After Nearly 37 Years With The City. Bellamy Joined The Department In 1998 And Currently Serves As Deputy Chief. He Will Become The 16th Chief Of Police For The City Of Kingsport Effective June 29th. City Manager Chris McCart Says Bellamy Has Served In Various Leadership Capacities And Will Continue To Lead With Integrity.
