According To A Henderson Motorsports Social Media Annoucement, Longtime Abingdon Resident And Race Team Owner Charlie Henderson Died Saturday. Henderson Was Head Of The 2nd Oldest Active Nascar Team Trailing Only The Wood Brothers In Longevity. He Started Racing At Kingsport Speedway In 1975 And Moved Into Nascar Ranks By 1982. The Abingdon-Based Team Has Focused On The Craftsman Truck Series With 108 Starts Over 14 Seasons.
