There Were Several Injuries Reported From Fireworks In Our Area Over The 4th Of July Holiday Weekend. One Juvenile Was Injured At Elizabethton’s Fireworks Performance Friday Night. Police Confirmed A Juvenile Was Struck With Firework Debris Towards The End Of The Display. The Juvenile Was Checked On Scene And Was Not Transported To The Hospital. Meanwhile, Two People Were Injured At Boone Lake Marina After Multiple Fireworks Went Off At Once, Close To The Lake’s Surface. The Injuries Were Described As Minor With The Two Injured People Being Taken To An Area Hospital For Observation.
