A New Pedestrian Bridge Is Coming To Kingsport Thanks To $500,000 In State Funding Secured By Representative Bud Hulsey. The Bridge Will Connect The Brickyard And Riverview Areas To Downtown At Centennial Park, Improving Safety And Access To Public Transit. It’s Part Of A Larger Project That Includes Housing, Trails, And An Event Venue. Design Plans Are Set To Be Complete This Fall, With Construction Expected To Begin In 2027.
