A Mosheim Man Was Arrested Sunday Afternoon Following A Domestic Assault Incident And High-Speed Police Chase. Deputies Responded Around 12:30 Sunday Morning To A Simple Assault Call At An Asheville Highway Residence Where A Female Victim Reported Heath Starnes Came To The Residence Drunk And Assaulted Her. As Deputies Were On Scene, Starnes Drove By In A Yellow Mustang Prompting A High-Speed Pursuit On Asheville Highway. The Chase Continued To The South Greene Volunteer Fire Department Before Authorities Lost Sight And Terminated Pursuit. Starnes Surrendered At His Snake Road Residence And Appeared In Court Monday On Charges Including Domestic Assault And Felony Evading Arrest.
