A Bristol Area Pursuit Has Resulted In Abduction Charges For A North Carolina Man Following A Multi-State Chase. Washington County Virginia Deputies Were Alerted To A Red Nissan SUV Connected To An Ongoing Joint Narcotics Investigation That Left Motel Six On Clear Creek Road. The Vehicle Failed To Stop For Deputies And A Pursuit Ensued Southbound On Interstate 81 Into Bristol Virginia Then Into Tennessee. Jonas Tramone Thompson Of High Point North Carolina Was Taken Into Custody Without Further Incident. The 44-Year-Old Was Charged With Abduction, Use Of A Firearm In The Commission Of A Felony And Possession Of A Firearm By A Convicted Felon. The Incident Remains Under Investigation.
