A Former Johnson City Police Officer Has Been Indicted On Charges Of Official Misconduct And Tampering With Governmental Records. The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation Says Connor Cooper Intentionally Disabled His Police Cruiser’s Video System And Body Camera After Being Involved In A Vehicle Pursuit In April 2024. The 27-Year-Old Also Allegedly Instructed A Trainee To Turn Off His Body Camera In An Effort To Tamper With Video Footage. Cooper Is Free On Bond. He Will Appear In Washington County Tennessee Criminal Court At A Later Date.
