A Carter County School Damaged By Hurricane Flooding Will Move Forward With Major Restoration Work. County Commissioners Have Approved Burleson Construction As The Project Manager For Hampton High School’s Restoration. The School Suffered Extensive Flood Damage From Hurricane Helene In September. Most Of The Restoration Project Will Be Funded With State Money. The School Board Voted In April To Repair The School Instead Of Building A New One Which Would Have Required More Local Funding.
