Bristol Virginia City Leaders Are Expected To Consider A Request This Evening For Additional Time On A Major Hotel Project. S & D Hotel LLC Is Seeking An Extension Of The Deadline For Its Home2 And Tru Hilton Hotel At The Village Near I-81 Exit Seven. The Operational Date Would Be Pushed From September 30th Of This Year To June 30th, 2027. The $23 Million, 160-Room Project Broke Ground In February 2024 But Construction Has Not Started. The Site Has Been Leveled And Paved But No Buildings Have Been Erected. The City Council Meeting Begins At 6pm.
