FOUR PLEAD TO ARSON

FOUR OF FIVE PEOPLE ACCUSED OF BURNING AN ABANDONED CHURCH AND ANOTHER BUILDING HAVE ADMITTED TO THE CRIMES IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE CRIMINAL COURT. 19 YEAR OLD JORDON BECKETT, 18 YEAR OLD CODY CARNELLA, 19 YEAR OLD SAMUEL MAUSOLF AND 19 YEAR OLD SPENCER NELSON ALL PLED GUILTY TO FELONY ARSON CHARGES. ALL THE FIRES TOOK PLACE LAST YEAR DURING DROUGHT CONDITIONS AND WERE PART OF A DOZEN ARSONS IN WASHINGTON AND GREENE COUNTIES. 19 YEAR OLD DUSTIN SHAW IS EXPECTED TO ENTER A PLEA TO ARSON ON APRIL 21ST AT WHICH TIME THE OTHERS WILL FIND OUT THEIR FATE AND HOW MUCH RESTITUTION WILL BE ORDERED. THEY FACE UP TO SIX YEARS IN PRISON ON EACH COUNT.
