The Washington County-Johnson City Animal Control Board Has Found A Way To Save Some Money. City Manager Pete Peterson Suggested Any Purchases Bigger Than 25-Thousand Dollars Could Be Done Through The Animal Control Board Rather Than Outside Contractors. Peterson Estimated This Could Save The Shelter 20 To 30-Thousand Dollars. This Would Require The Board To Sign The Purchase Orders And Process Check Request For Items Like The Metal Building. The First Steel Could Be Going Up In Four To Five Weeks.
