The National Weather Service Has Confirmed That It Was Indeed Tornadoes That Touched Down In Both Sullivan And Washington Counties. Preliminary Data Indicates That Two EF-1 Tornadoes Were Packing Winds Of 105 Mph. The Funnel Cloud Formed Around The Rock Springs Road And Sullivan Gardens Area In Kingsport And Ended East Of Gray. The Tornado Is Estimated To Have Left A 2.5 Mile Path Of Damage.
