Washington County Sheriff Fred Newman Said 24 Year Old Christopher Emmert Was Captured At A Location On Sweet Hollow Road In Damascus Where He Was Hiding In The Back Of A Pickup Truck. He Had Escaped From The Back Of A Police Car Following A Meth Lab Bust. Emmert Had Eight Active Warrants Out Against Him. He Is Being Held Without Bond In The Southwest Virginia Regional Jail In Abingdon. A Court Date For Emmert Is Pending.
