A Johnson City Business Owner Is Coming Under Fire By The City Zoning Commission To Remove Some Artwork From The Side Of A Historic Building. A Mural That Reads “Nelson Fine Art Gallery” Alongside A Building On Main Street In Downtown Exceeds The Size Allowed For Signs Under City Code, According To The Historic Zoning Commission. A Few Blocks Away, Downtown Farming, Was Informed The Paining On The Side Of Their Building Violated The Same Ordinance. Both Business Owners Were Cited And Are Working To Find Ways To Possibly Negotiate A Compromise.
