An Elizabethton Man Accused Of His Involvement In An Oxycodone Conspiracy Centered In And Around The Carter County Area Has Been Sentenced In U.S. District Court In Greeneville. 37 Year Old Dennis Keith Gibbons Jr. Plead Guilty To Obtaining And Distributing The Pills From A Pain Clinic In Georgia Since 2011 And A Judge Ordered Him To Serve 210 Months In A Federal Prison. Prosecutors Said Gibbons Sent Seven People To Georgia To Obtain Pills For Him, While Another Four Individuals Were Selling Them For Him In Tennessee. A Search Warrant At Gibbons’ Home Turned Up A Shotgun, Ammunition, 79 Pills And Nearly 91-Hundred Dollars In Cash. His Father, Dennis Gibbons Sr. Plead Guilty In July And Is Set To Be Sentenced November 3rd.
