The Kingsport Fire Station Downtown Will Host A Public Dedication And Unveiling Of A New Sculpture. The Sculpture, “R. Hero”, Will Honor Firefighters, Police Officers, First Responders, And Military Service Men And Women And Will Serve As A Reminder Of The Sacrifices That These Heroic Individuals Have Made. R Hero Is A Six-Foot Tall, Aluminum Dalmation Puppy. The Public Is Invited To Attend The Ceremony On Thursday At 9:30 A.M. On Island Street In Downtown Kingsport.
