A Carter County Woman Who Was Convicted Nearly Two Years Ago In The Shooting Death Of Her Boyfriend Has Had A New Trial Date Set In Criminal Court. 32 Year Old Wendy Garrison Is Charged With Second Degree Murder Of Josh Perry In March 2005 In The Stoney Creek Section Of The County. Perry Suffered A Gunshot Wound From A .50 Caliber Muzzle Loader. Even Though A Jury Found Her Guilty, The Tennessee Appeals Court Granted Her A New Trial Due To An Error On The Part Of A Judge Who Failed To Tell The Jury They Could Consider A Lesser Charge. Garrison Remains On A 100-Thousand Dollars Bond With Her New Trial Set For February 22nd 2010.
