A Greene County Teen Charged As An Adult With First Degree In The Death Of His Father Has Entered A Guilty Plea To Second Degree Murder In A Plea Deal With Prosecutors. Zachary Thomas Blanchard , Who Is Now 18, Made The Plea In The April 2014 Shooting Death Of His Father, 36 Year Old Robert J. Blanchard On The Property They Lived On At Snapps Ferry Road. He Was Indicted On Three Counts Of First Degree Murder And One Count Of Especially Aggravated Robbery. Zachary Thomas Blanchard Was Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison And Must Serve 100 Percent Of His Term. Meanwhile, Three Other Teenagers Who Joined Blanchard After The Shooting Were Taken Into Custody With Him The Next Day. Their Cases Have Been Resolved In Greene County Juvenile Court.
